And another project goes into the knitting hopper! A good friend of mine is expecting, and I ordered some yarn today to make a present for the baby shower:
hooded pullover
It’s the hooded pullover from Debbie Bliss’ Special Knits, but instead of making it from her Cashmerino Aran (as the pattern calls for), I’m using KnitPicks’ Wool of the Andes in Fern.

In spite of having finished a project this morning (photos to come), I’m still working on several new ones in my head. I’m playing around with the design for the Christmas present socks with some not-so-nice acrylic Bernat Sox yarn, and I’m also toying with embellishments for the grey wool sweater for Michelle, not to mention trying to figure out how I’m going to make three more kids’ sweaters for the nephews and niece between now and YoderChristmas (which is not Decemberween this year, as I had previously assumed, but late September/early October). And then there’s all the walking time — I also ordered a couple Addi Turbo circular #2′s to see if I can walk and do socks at the same time without worrying about losing a needle. Not enough time.
