In the 80&#039;s you could buy &quot;brownie trimmings&quot; at Zingerman&#039;s Deli in Ann Arbor, by the pound. Total luxury. 

Now they have a different brownie (cake-like, not chewy, but probably they have a longer shelf life). You can&#039;t buy trimmings anymore. That was the life.

My method lately has been to take one brownie batch and cook them in 3 bread pans. Almost the same thing as above, but nothing extra to store in the tiny kitchen cupboards.

Hope your holiday events go happily, and you get some brownies from the corner of the pan!
